M B F W A # 1 - Miss Unkon

This show was by far my favourite on the first day of M B F W A. I even got to usher for this show and I got to meet the lovely Nicole Warne. The best day EVER! However this was just the beginning of Fashion Week day 1. The Miss Unkon show blew my mind with the diverse range of pastels and chiffon material with cleverly laced embroidery that accentuated the feminine shape. It was very sophisticated line with playful hints of girliness and definitely keeping up with the trends. It made me crave for a warm spring morning with flowers growing around me. Somewhat fairytale like with lots of candy floss. I absolutely loved it. Anyways enough of my rambling about what I thought. Check these beauties out, courtesy of Vogue of course. 

My favourite outfit has to be the fifth one from the top. The white chiffon and silks with white embroidery on the hemline of the skirt just gives a feeling of serene comfort except in a classy way that could be worn as evening wear. 

Oh bring on spring Sydney. I am so ready for it. Miss Unkon has nailed Spring to a T.

This was my go to outfit during summer. It's simple, clean and a little bit on the cute side. Just the way I like to dress ha. The chiffon top by Miss Unkon has been my best find this past summer for half the original price. I was so ecstatic when I found it, I was like a kid who found candy. Seriously. The top paired with a cute pair of love heart shorts made my days at uni super comfy because they're fitted but give room for me to eat copious amounts of food as I study. Then joined by my faithful combat boots and voila! You have my go to outfit for lazy uni day wake ups. 

Also I apologise for the poorly taken photos... My mac refuses to accept that I need to edit photos. Hm. 

Ah you guys cannot fathom how many times I have donned this exact outfit because I'm that lazy. Plus the cut out in the back of this shirt is incredibly sexy. Someone remind me to take a photo of me in it and I will show you all how amazing it makes my back look. If that's possible... 

Well I better give my eyes and legs a rest. I went to Market HQ's VIP sale tonight and I think I'm coming down with something nasty. I shall show you my sale haul tomorrow but for now it's bedtime :).

B I R T H D A T E.

Yesterday was my birthday and the weather was perfect in the morning. My beautiful boyfriend was going to take me to the shoe fair until we realised it was for trade only. HA! So that plan was scratched but here is a few pics of what I was wearing that sunny hot day. Sydney hasn't been very lucky with the sun, it's been raining practically every other day. It's a bit of a nightmare for taking photos.

Sorry for the shoddy photography, the lighting in my living room was atrocious but I had to make do. I'm loving pastels this season, it makes me feel oh so happy. Add a bit of sparkle with a metal choker and you're good to go!

OH guess what, the top is by Miss Unkon and it was a steal! I love Miss Unkon but I love sales even more! :)
