N E O N.

Hello deserted blog. There aren't enough ways to say sorry to make up for my lack of attention towards this space. It's quite upsetting actually. I escaped civilisation for about a week and realised I need not worry about so much and just focus on people I love dearly, soak up the sun and basically relax and enjoy my life. Then this week I came to the realisation that I'm too young to go into retirement, also I realised I need money first to retire. HA! Duh Ann!

Basically I lost my determination to strive for my extravagant goals of becoming a respected designer along with being photographically talented... I honestly lost hope but it was time to get back into action so here is a brief post of the colour I am currently in love with. NEON!

(Random Neon Skirt, Zara Contrast Shirt, ROC Combat Boots)

Besides my new found realisation that I need to pay just a little bit more attention to this space, I have actually got a new haircut! YAY! I've received mixed reactions about it. Some say I look cute, some say 'OH THAT'S DIFFERENT!' and then someone said I looked korean... LOL!

Anyways the next step is to re-dye my hair but I'm thinking about trying a new colour. Bright red? Lavender? Ahhh the choices.

Anyways I hope you enjoy my photography. I'm loving my camera more and more everyday. Now I just need to figure out how to use the remote I just bought...

H & M + T O P S H O P U P D A T E.

Well I thought I might let you all know that Topshop is opening a new store in Sydney and H&M have planned to open new stores down in Melbourne first, then Sydney.

Topshop has planned to open a brand new store in the Gowings building next to QVB on George Street sometime during October this year. How exciting! The new Topshop Sydney store will be a multilevel store with all the magnificent finds Topshop and Topman has to offer. Save all your money ladies and gents because once it opens, it will be crazier than Zara's opening last year! I know I haven't spent much over the last few months, trying really hard to save my money for Topshop's new opening along with ASOS's new collection coming out in the next few weeks! Ah cannot wait!

As for H&M they have planned for two new stores to open in Chadstone Shopping Centre and the new Emporium Site in Melbourne's CBD. However, a Sydney store has yet to be confirmed :(. So us Sydney siders will just have to wait! On other great news (for Melbourners) Zara has announced the opening of two new stores in Chadstone and Doncaster! Lucky for everyone living in Melbourne! So jealous...

Anyways to keep you all happy here is H&M's newest collection...

M I N T .

Sorry for being a little MIA lately, I left my camera with all the lovely photos at my boyfriend's place. Upsetting, I know, however I can now show you how lovely Sydney's weather has been. I had to take advantage of it so we had a little bit of fun. Next time I'll take some pictures of the places we go to especially when we go for weekend bike rides. Anyways this is what I've been sporting for the past few days because I'm so happy the sun is out and the skirt just puts a smile on my face. The colour is, honestly, I-R-R-E-S-I-S-T-A-B-L-E!

(AllAboutEve Crop Grey Knit, Zara Studded Collar Shirt, Alive Girl Mint Circle Skirt, ROC Combat Boots, ASOS Ankle Cuffs, Colette Bracelets, ASOS and Market Rings, Agent Ninety Nine Beanie, Persol Sunglasses)The colour mint has hit the world by storm. Not only are pastels the new colours for colour blocking but mint, I would say, has been crowned King of all. It literally goes with everything, but most fashionistas are opting for the safe route and teaming it with pretty baby pinks. I'm not saying it's bad, just maybe a little on the safe side but it definitely does the trick. Everything this spring is incredibly feminine highlighted by the colour palette chosen by the best designers and fashionistas out there.

OH and do you like my make shift ankle cuffs? I was trying to emulate this look!

Time for me to get back to some good ol' online shopping!

T W O T O N E.

Finally getting my blog back on track and it's extremely satisfying. Even if I don't have thousands of  readers or hundreds of admirers like my idols i.e. garypeppervintage, shinebythree etc etc, I get to take photos of my clothing that I want to share with whoever is interested. And this way I get to document how my style develops and evolves through each season. I hope whoever does read does appreciate what I have to offer. From a very young age I've loved to dress up and I loved my barbie dolls even more. So you could say I'm a complete girly girl from a ripe young age of 3.

Not only will I be posting more frequently (hopefully everyday) I'm changing my website. Because I'm not that great with taking photos by myself of myself I'm hoping to change this website into a one stop shop for girls everywhere. You'll be able to see the latest trends, latest runway shows, an insight into my daily life and what I'll be making next. With that kind responsibility means I'll actually be taking proper action with my blog. It will be visual diary to keep up to date with what's happening in fashion and maybe along the way people will use it too. Wish me luck! Changes will be happening over the next 2 weeks.

Watch this space people!

Wool Patterned Leggings - Something Else by Natalie Wood (similar here), Wedge Boots - Tony Bianco, Studded Collar Shirt - Zara, Bra - The Story of (similar here), Blue Suede Jacket - MarcoPolo, Deconstructed Blazer - Neon Hart, Rose Gold Watch - Oasis, Spiked Bracelet - Asos
Recently I've fallen in love with two tone jackets and the best way to achieve the best variety is to use a deconstructed double vested blazer or vest and add any jacket of any colour or texture. My favourite combination is this beautiful blue suede jacket my mum bought for me on my 17th birthday. It's soooo soft and so blue!

Oh and one rule of thumb I want to share with you is black and white with ONE colour. I'll show you what I meant tomorrow with another version!

I've been wearing this combination basically everyday of winter and to uni because it's reliable, warm and I still look stylish :)

More tomorrow!

M Y H E A R T B E A T S R E D.

(Blazer - Zara, T-shirt - Boyfriend's, Pleated Skirt - Motel, Loafers - Rubi, Collar necklace - General Pants Co.)

So I've been a bit of a workaholic lately but I finally caught up with a couple of friends the other night and this is what I wore. It's feels so nice talking to friends rather than lecturers and tutors. Honestly I thought I would've gone crazy if I didn't... soon.

OH and I finally purchased the metal peter pan collar/necklace/thing and it was only 30bucks! 30 BUCKS! I was super happy considering the ones I showed you guys a month ago cost about an arm and a leg of a student who earns barely anything a week :(.

And stealing your boyfriend's T-shirt is the best thing in the world. Guys have better T-shirt designs. Full stop! So just steal them off a guy you know and you're set!

Anyways I hope everyone is enjoying their holidays because I AM! :)
