F L U R O .

(Miss Brown Vintage Denim Vest, Random Black Cardigan, MindMyAnn Neoprene Croptop, Don't Ask Amanda Tulle Skirt, Therapy Platforms, Tommy Hilfiger Socks)

There's been an odd silence on this side of the blogosphere lately. Life sort of gets in the way of things and your priorities just change. Unfortunately I can't seem to forget my blog anytime soon and once again I'm coming back to revitalise this space.

Behind the scenes of MindMyAnn there has been a bit of hustle and bustle lately, and there's been whisperings of something big to pop up! So with that, you will have to put up with more absences and random postings but fear not, MindMyAnn is here to stay!

So in recent weeks when I got a wink of sleep and some time to spare, AJ and I went for a little shoot around the corner from his house. Amazingly, we managed to find this iron bridge and dry bed creek which was even more picturesque with a sunset over the horizon.

Oh and the outfit? Well I'm very proud to say that the neoprene crop top was made by yours truly which will be available soon (stay tuned!) and the disgusting pig that I am, I've worn this combo so many times I've lost count. You can never go wrong with black & white paired with denim and ONE splash of colour. As the weather gets colder I've been heading down that all black or black&white palette in hopes of my clothing absorbing the warmth of the sun. It's working. Although nights are full of ugg boot rocking and daggy pjs, I've managed to keep my wardrobe fairly reasonable for public viewing thanks to last years overhaul of excessive knits and leggings (and possibly an abuse of eBay).

Back to reality now, absorbing the warmth of my fireplace, rocking a pair of woolly socks, ugg boots and the ugliest BUT warmest pjs out. I will smell you guys later.

The day we skipped uni for karaoke, vodka oranges and pool.

Denim Shirt - Wrangler. Sunnies - Raybans. Skirt - Don't Ask Amanda. Combat Boots - ROC. Bag - ZU

Skipped uni. Caught up with a few friends. Had 3L of vodka oranges between us. Sang our lungs out to Queen, especially my boyfriend's fav - Bohemian Rhapsody. Gawd you gotta love Queen :). Honestly had the best time and the weather was on our side for once. I managed to wear a semi sleeveless shirt like this and NOT freeze. But this week it's back to shit weather once again... friggen winter. As much as I love layering, I hate my immune system during winter. It refuses to be nice to me. I swear I take care of my body but my body just doesn't love me back :(.

Anyways my friends are awesome. Life is good. What more can I want? Oh yeah... the friggen sun to come back. And maybe a few more pairs of shoes hahaha.

All in all, it was a nice break from the usual routine :). OH AND I finally got to take happy snaps of my favourite denim shirt. I swear I've worn out the denim dye... I clearly remember it being a lot darker when I first bought it. LOL well DUH it's denim... idiot ann. Alright I'm going slightly more insane as I stay up past 4am. Oh thats probably why I'm sick, my sleeping patterns are so effed up.

Nighty night everyone. Enjoy the photos of me bumming around in my favourite outfit with my closest friends :).

Love
Ann

P.s. Am dreading my 7am wake up call. Sigh hope everyone else gets to sleep in!

G R A N D P A C L O T H I N G

Blazer - GP Co., Denim Shirt - Wrangler, Burgundy Wedges - Rubi, Leather Skirt - Don't Ask Amanda, Perfume - Gwen Stefani Harajuku Lovers

So here is what I wore today :). Nothing special but since I didn't have anyone to photograph me in it I decided to chuck it on the floor and takes photos of it! It took a lot of time to decide what to wear today since the weather was pretty shithouse and I had to go into the city to gather all of my bf's 19th birthday pressies for this friday!

I love red and burgundy. It just looks awesome on asians lol. And as you all know I love shoes so when I saw them in Rubi for less than $50, in burgundy as a wedge, I HAD to have them :). Now they basically never leave my feet. I can actually wear them to uni because they are so comfortable. They've never grazed my heel, so they never give you blisters.

Oh and you know what looks even sweeter than burgundy wedges? Classic denim shirts with some leather loving. I haven't found a pair of leather high waisted shorts that fit me perfectly so I opted for a leather skirt :). It fits me like a glove and it's much much more versatile - well for me anyways. This winter I have sooooooo many blue and reds. I can't really describe to you why but I can definitely say they look great together. But sometimes it can go wrong - you can tend to look like the American flag...

ALSO that blazer you see... I wear it AT LEAST 4 times a week. I can't get over how comfortable it sits, I guess because it's a baggy fit (perfect for layering). I think I'm in love with it because it looks like a stole it from my grandpa and I wear it like it's meant to be mine when it's clearly TOO big for me.

One other thing, those bracelets all of them gifted to me by my boyfriend. The cuff is handmade by his Aunt in the Philippines. She crocheted wires and turquoise stone in between the wires. It's even more amazeballs in person! The beads are from India. They're made from sandalwood and smell amazing, that means I never smell bad... I think. The last bracelet we just bought from cotton on - nothing spesh :(.

OMG I nearly forgot - THE PERFUME! I bought Gwen Stefani's Harajuku Lovers Perfume when it first came out and I haven't used another perfume since. It smells just oh so sweet but it's not overpowering! The one I have is called LOVER.

Anyways I hope you found this post a little more personal than my other ones and I have actually made a change for the better!

ALSO SORRY FOR A MASSIVE ESSAY I WROTE! I hope I didn't bore anyone to death :(.
