Before I show you my staple pieces I've been stuck to this cold winter, I'll first show my winter staple food(s). I don't know what it is about winter that makes me crave sugary sweets, but it definitely satisfies the stomach even it increases my blood sugar by 1000 percent and I have a sugar high for about an hour or two. However, I really cannot complain, on top of the sweets I get to catch (finally) with friends I haven't seen in over six months due to the fact that my closest friends are scattered across every single NSW university. It's sad really... but don't you love those moments when the conversation just flows as if you saw each other the other day but in fact the last time you were in the same space was a billion years ago. Loving conversations in a quant cafe, sweet things, and a few close friends.

Just thought I'd share how beautiful the skies were on the weekend when AJ and I went for a bike ride. I had to capture how warm the day where there wasn't a cloud in sight. It put a big fat smile on my face. Ahhh you can't beat a nice sunny winter afternoon.

C H O C O L A T E .

This is what happens when you haven't eaten anything all morning and you need energy to shop and chat with girlfriends who you haven't seen in over a month. You venture into Max Brenner and order yourself waffles coated in chocolate and a thick dark hot chocolate. Drool...

The day we skipped uni for karaoke, vodka oranges and pool.

Denim Shirt - Wrangler. Sunnies - Raybans. Skirt - Don't Ask Amanda. Combat Boots - ROC. Bag - ZU

Skipped uni. Caught up with a few friends. Had 3L of vodka oranges between us. Sang our lungs out to Queen, especially my boyfriend's fav - Bohemian Rhapsody. Gawd you gotta love Queen :). Honestly had the best time and the weather was on our side for once. I managed to wear a semi sleeveless shirt like this and NOT freeze. But this week it's back to shit weather once again... friggen winter. As much as I love layering, I hate my immune system during winter. It refuses to be nice to me. I swear I take care of my body but my body just doesn't love me back :(.

Anyways my friends are awesome. Life is good. What more can I want? Oh yeah... the friggen sun to come back. And maybe a few more pairs of shoes hahaha.

All in all, it was a nice break from the usual routine :). OH AND I finally got to take happy snaps of my favourite denim shirt. I swear I've worn out the denim dye... I clearly remember it being a lot darker when I first bought it. LOL well DUH it's denim... idiot ann. Alright I'm going slightly more insane as I stay up past 4am. Oh thats probably why I'm sick, my sleeping patterns are so effed up.

I wore this outfit sooo many times during the winter. The grey knit allowed me to wear so many under layers and thermals without anyone noticing. Anyways I was just mucking around with my boyfriend and a couple of friends (stefan and mike) in the above picture. We were bored. We hated uni. So we decided to have some fun by bumming around. Haha story of my life lol. 

Oh yeah I bought those AWESOME black suede wedges for 60 bucks from this random brand... which I have never heard of but glad I found, Court Couture. Wedges = best invention yet. 

Also I could possibly be going ranga soon. Dying my hair to Rihanna red. Thoughts? 

Anyways back to the huge pile of essays that are piling up on my desk but do not worry I have a crap load of photos from my past few and very limited adventures lately. Sigh getting sick and trying to crack down onto the studies is actually happening... So I'm officially a hermit. Volleyball finals are coming up this tuesday- hopefully we win... HOPEFULLY. *fingers crossed*  

I almost forgot. I got a job last week... YAY MONEY hahaha. To supply my endless need and cravings for shoes and clothes. I am officially a sales assistant at Lola QVB. It's a little shop but the clothes are absolutely fab. My first shift and I've already got about 10 things on my wanted list.

So sorry this turned to be a massive rant. I haven't been blogging in awhile so I thought I'd keep you guys posted about the shenanigans I've been up to and how the stress is slowly eating away at me. Joke. I'm stress freeeeeee - ultimate understatement of the century! 

Alrighty then that pretty much sums up this post. There were heaps of photos to choose from so I just decided to pretty much shove all of them for all to see. ENJOY.

Tea for Two

I owe this post to my 2 beautiful friends Jayani and Vanessa. It's a very late post since it happened last week but wow who knew having high tea would be so much fun! Lol quote from Vanessa: "I feel so sophisticated!" haha it really did make us feel old but sophisticated. Chatting for over 4 hours and having macaroons and hot hot tea!

I can't believe Macquarie has a tea room! Go check out T2 at Macquarie Centre it's so 'suave' and it's filled with yummy goodies like...

Farewell Merwhale

This is quite a late post about my beautiful friend Vivian who left for Austria! She'll be gone for 12 months! Thank god I got to see her before she left. The one thing I'll miss about her will be her amazeball voice. No joke, you would be aware of her presence by her voice not her physical being. So Vivian this post is dedicated to you! I miss you so much already!!! COME BACK SAFE! By the way she has a blog where she posts stuff about her daily adventures! go check it out here
